Professional Firearms Training

 

Training Offered

Basic Handgun/Firearms - Teaches beginners the basics of safety, firearms knowledge, ammunition, and shooting fundamentals. Course length is 3-4 hours. This class is currently held upon request.   Students should bring their firearm and at least 100 rounds of ammunition, (more is better).  Fee is $50 per student.


Concealed Carry Level I - Satisfies requirements for Arkansas CHL training, focusing on safety, handgun knowledge, shooting fundamentals, ammunition, stopping power, modes of carry, maintenance, storage, cleaning, common-sense awareness, legal aspects of carrying a handgun and the use of deadly force.  At the end of the classroom portion of the course, the students must demonstrate competency on the range.  Application assistance and fingerprinting are also provided. Course length is 8 hours. This class is currently held the third Saturday of every month and upon special request.  Students should bring the firearm they wish to qualify with and 50 rounds of ammunition.  Fee is $100 per student.

Concealed Carry Level II - Essentially an advanced course, Level II reviews and surpasses the basics covered in the Level I class, focusing on Mindset, Skills, and Tactics. Course length is 8 hours. Students will fire 350-400 rounds in the range portion. Students will need a dependable handgun, holster, sturdy belt, spare magazines or speedloaders, pouches or carriers, and a concealment garment. It is important to bring the equipment described since some of the instruction focuses on such skills as the draw and presentation of the weapon from the holster and/ concealment.   This class is currently offered quarterly and upon special request.  Fee is $100 per student.
